One sixth of NYC landlords on brink of default

16.41% of residential tenants paid no rent by the middle of October. This is an improvement from last month, 19.43% residential tenants paid no rent.

Without help from the government, more than 15 percent percent of landlords say they do not think they’ll be able to make property tax or water and sewer payments in January.
